UWSP operates a high-speed wired data network capable of delivering speeds to UWSP wired devices of up to 1 GB/s depending upon location.
Data ports are available in nearly every classroom, computer lab, office, shop and in almost every building on campus. To activate or add a jack, please enter an IT work order to Request a Network Jack Change.
Outdoor Wi-Fi is available in the areas shown in blue on the Outdoor Wi-Fi map. Your Wi-Fi connection may be limited in unmarked areas. Be aware that when moving between outdoor Wi-Fi and indoor Wi-Fi your device may take a few minutes to reconnect. Switching your device’s Wi-Fi off and then back on should speed up this reconnection.
- Select eduroam for wifi, and sign in just as you do to your home institution's wireless network.
The UWSP_Unsecure_Guest wi-fi is available to UWSP visitors who do not have an eduroam member account. UWSP_Unsecure_Guest is an open, unsecure network in UWSP academic and administrative buildings with some limited access to UWSP resources. During summers, UWSP_Unsecure_Guest is also available in UWSP residence halls.
