How To Connect Your Devices To The UWSP Internet In Residence Halls
UWSP Wired Network
Use a wired connection whenever possible when connecting your devices to your residence hall network. A wired connection will minimize interference from other devices and can also provide better bandwidth.
To connect to the wired network in your Residence Hall room plug one end of an ethernet cable into the wall jack and the other end into your network device. Ethernet cables can be purchased at most large retail stores or on-line vendors.
- All Residence Hall rooms except Suites@201: Use the jack near the window to ensure the jack is active.
- Suites@201 Residence Hall rooms: All room network jacks are active and available to use.
UWSP Wi-Fi
Use UWSPWIRELESS or Eduroam for laptops, mobile phones, and for any device which asks you to connect to the network with your UWSP Username and Password.
Connect these devices to the UWSPWIRELESS or Eduroam network.

Connect to UWSPDEVICE for gaming and streaming devices and any device that only asks for a password and does not require your full UWSP account signon when connecting.
Connect these devices to the UWSPDEVICE wi-fi.
