Account Set Up For Employees and Affiliates

Account activation steps for UWSP employees, student employees, and affiliates including volunteers and contracting partners.

Complete all three steps to prevent lockout to campus resources.

  1. Activate your UWSP account as soon as you receive your username from your Department Information Manager (DIM).  Your UWSP account can be activated from any computer with internet access.  ​​​​

    Once you have activated your UWSP account you will have access to your UWSP email and other UWSP network resources. 

  2. Set up Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your mobile device within 30-days of account activation to prevent being locked out of UWSP resources.

    • (optional): Request Your MFA Hardware Token.  UWSP employees are encouraged to also request an MFA hardware token as a secure back up authentication method. Your first MFA hardware token is paid for by your department.
       
  3. Sign in to myPoint​ to complete your new student employee account set up and finish activating your account.
