Learn how to activate your UWSP employee account and access the account activation page!

Completing your UWSP account activation and MFA set up provides you with access to UWSP systems and services and helps to prevent lockouts to your campus resources.

  • Step 1: Activate your UWSP account as soon as you receive your username from your Department Information Manager (DIM). Once you have activated your UWSP account you will have access to your UWSP email and other UWSP network resources.

    Your UWSP account can be activated from any computer with internet access.

  • Step 2: Set up Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your mobile device within 30-days of account activation to prevent being locked out of UWSP resources.

    The use of MFA secondary authentication is required whenever accessing secure UWSP resources.

  • Step 3: Request Your MFA Hardware Token.  All UWSP employees, including student staff, are required to have an MFA hardware token as a secure additional authentication method.
