How to Get Your Student PointCard

How To Receive Your Student PointCard​

You MUST show a government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license or other acceptable forms of ID to receive your PointCard.

How to Receive Your PointCard At Your On-Campus Orientation

IMPORTANT:  To receive your PointCard, you must show a government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license or other acceptable form(s) of ID.

Do the following if you are planning to attend an on-campus orientation on the Stevens Point campus.

  1. ​Complete all of the steps to set up your UWSP student account.
  2. Register for your orientation session. 
  3. Take and upload your photo for your UWSP PointCard.  Do this at least one business day before coming to campus.
  4. Watch your UWSP email before coming to campus for an email from the PointCard Office. This email will let you know if your photo was:
    • Approved for use,
      - or -
    • Not approved.  If Your photo is not approved you should retake and resubmit your photo, making sure to carefully follow the Criteria for taking your photo.

If the photo you submitted was approved at least one business day in advance, your PointCard should be ready and waiting for you at your orientation session. Make sure to bring a government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license or other acceptable form(s) of ID.  You will need to show identification to receive your PointCard.

 

Other Opportunities to Receive Your PointCard

  • There are opportunities during on-campus orientations to have your photo taken and submitted.  After your orientation you will need to stop by the IT Service Desk to receive your PointCard.
  • You can stop by the IT Service Desk to have your photo taken by IT Service Desk staff and your PointCard printed as you wait.

UWSP at Marshfield Campus Students

IMPORTANT:  To receive your UWSP Student PointCard you MUST show a government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license or other acceptable forms of ID.

 

Online/Virtual Students

Online/Virtual students can request their card be delivered through the mail. 

  • Due to it being a voter ID, you will need to sign for the package once delivered to your mailing address.
