Why Is It Important to Get Your PointCard?
Your PointCard is your electronic key for access to building/room entrances like an assigned residence hall, office building or work area, and after hours access to academic buildings. Your PointCard is also used to access a purchased dining plan, for library check out and inter-library loan, fitness/rec passes and memberships, free or discounted tickets to university sports, and other events and services.
Many Stevens Point businesses offer discounts to UWSP students who show their PointCard. UWSP students can also show their PointCard to ride the Stevens Point city bus for free.
There are a lot of important, or simply useful, reasons to get your UWSP PointCard. There is no charge for your first UWSP PointCard.
Once you receive your UWSP PointCard: DO NOT share your PointCard and be careful to not damage it. Make sure that your PointCard is available when you need it by carrying it with you at all times whenever you are on a UWSP campus.
