VPN stands for Virtual Private Networking.
VPNs add a layer of encryption between your device and your connected network by routing all network traffic through a secure tunnel. A VPN protects your device when you connect remotely to UWSP resources such as restricted databases and systems, or even while accessing the internet from unsecure locations like the public Wifi in a coffee shop or airport. UWSP's VPN provides a layer of encryption by routing your connection through the UWSP network and is required when accessing secure UWSP resources.
Use UWSP's Cisco Secure Client VPN.
Multifactor Authentication is required for all VPN connections.
To always receive Push notifications and complete your MFA authentications from your mobile device, set your default MFA Authentication method to "App-based authentication - notification".
