Body

VPN stands for Virtual Private Networking

VPNs adds a layer of encryption between your device and your connected network by routing all network traffic through a secure tunnel. A VPN protects your device while connecting remotely to UWSP resources such as restricted databases and systems or even while accessing the internet from unsecure locations like the public Wifi in a coffee shop or airport. VPNs through UWSP provide a layer of encryption by routing your connection through the UWSP network.

Multifactor Authentication is required for all VPN connections.

If you need to authenticate using verification codes from your MFA hardware token you will need to install and use the intermediary app, Big-IP Edge Client, to complete the authentication.  To always receive Push notifications and complete your MFA authentications from your mobile device, set your default MFA Authentication method to "App-based authentication - notification".
