A lost or stolen PointCard in the wrong hands can potentially result in unauthorized access to the electronic locks on university building doors and secured rooms, student residence hall doors, and abuse of your university services like your dining plan. Your electronic lock permissions also include your after hours campus community access.
Refer to the following to easily deactivate your PointCard services and then reactivate them if you find or replace your card.
You are liable for all activities authorized by your PointCard - even if someone other than you is using it.
Deactivate Your PointCard
If your PointCard is lost or stolen, or is simply missing (even if you are hoping to find it), you should always protect yourself by completely deactivating your card.
Replace your PointCard
If your PointCard is lost or stolen you should replace your card, then reactivate your services.
Reactivate your PointCard
Reactivate your electronic lock access and university services on your new or existing card.
