Authenticating via phone call is ONLY available to UWSP students and affiliates.
To use phone call authentication you must first add a phone number in your UWSP Microsoft account.
How to Authenticate Using Phone Calls
If phone calls are set as your default authentication method:
- You will automatically receive a call when authenticating with MFA.
To use phone authentication if the Microsoft Authenticator app is set as your default:
- Sign in with your UWSP account.
- In the Approve Sign-in request prompt that opens click I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now.
- Choose Call.
