How Do I Include an Email Message as an Attachment?

 

In the Outlook Desktop app:

  1. From your email list, open the email or select the email so that it displays in Outlook's Preview pane.
  2. At the top right in the the previewed email or the open message click the Other Actions button (horizontal three dots).
  3.  In the menu that opens select Forward as Attachment.  This opens a new email with your selected email added as an attachment.
  4. Address and send your email.

In the Outlook Web app:

  1. From your email list, open the email or select the email so that it displays in Outlook's Preview pane.
  2. At the top right in the the previewed email or the open message click the More Actions button (horizontal three dots).
  3.  In the menu that opens hover over Other reply actions then select Forward as Attachment.  This opens a new email with your selected email added as an attachment.
  4. Address and send your email.
