UWSP students and employees can print to the FollowMe print queues while working from home or elsewhere while off campus then return to campus and physically print their documents from a FollowMe Printer up to 72 hours later.
UWSP-Devices includes assigned employee devices and UWSP check-out and loaner laptops. To print to a FollowMe print queue from a UWSP device while you are away from campus, the FollowMe Print Queues must be added to your UWSP computer and you must be signed into the Cisco Secure Client VPN.
UWSP's FollowMe Print queues are already added to all Remote Lab computers making the Remote Lab an easy-to-use printing option. VPN is also not needed since you are remoting in to an on-campus computer.
To print to a FollowMe print queue from the Remote Lab, save your file to your UWSP OneDrive file storage then sign into the Remote Lab and print to a FollowMe print queue. Once you print your print job to a FollowMe print queue, you have 72 hours to physically print your document from a UWSP FollowMe printer.
