Class Standing distribution lists contain the addresses for all students by their attained academic classification: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Senior, Graduates or Special student status. All distribution lists are automatically available in Microsoft Outlook. The lists are updated every half hour from data supplied by the Office of the Registrar.
NOTE: To ensure student privacy no one can see list memberships.

Naming Conventions for Class Standing Distribution Lists
A Class Standing distribution list name consists of the letters "class-" followed by the class standing designation.

How to Email a Class Standing Distribution List
Email a Class Standing Distribution List in the Outlook Desktop App
- Open the Outlook app and create a new email.
- Click the To... button to open the Select Names dialog box.
- In the Search Box, type class standing to display all Class Standing distribution lists.
- Select the desired list(s).
- Click To.
- Click OK.
Email a Class Standing Distribution List in the Outlook Web App
- Go to email.uwsp.edu.
- Create a new email and click To. The Add recipients box opens.
- At the left in the Add recipients box select Default Global Address List - Office 365.
- At the right, type class in the search box.
- Click the plus, " + ", to the right of the desired list(s) to add.
- At the bottom right click Save.
