Secondary Authentication Method Set Up (Students)

In addition to the recommended Microsoft Authenticator app, students and other non-active employees can add the following secondary authentication methods:

• SMS
• Phone call
• Hardware token (A $12 fee is applied to the student's account for this secondary method)
   

Enable SMS or Phone Call Authentication

1. Sign in to your UWSP Microsoft account.
    
2. Click UPDATE INFO in the Security info box.
   
    
3. Click Add a sign-in method > Alternate phone > Add.
   
    
4. Enter your phone number > select Text me a code or Call me > Next.
   
    

You will receive an automated call or SMS asking you to confirm the registration of your phone.
