The iPad/Tablet service is only available on UWSP-owned equipment for business use only. A six-digit department account number is required for this service. Any equipment or service obtained personally will not be reimbursed by UWSP.
The iPad/Tablet data service is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA). Review our Business Cellular Service Policies and Responsibilities prior to requesting cellular service.
iPad/Tablet Business Cellular Service
Assignment Must be Cost Justified
The DOA policy requires that the additional operating costs of iPad/tablet data service be cost justified and approved by an appropriate University official. Valid justification include:
- Frequent travel,
- Job responsibilities that require the employee to be out of the office for extended periods of time and require mobile communication in order to perform their job duties,
- Employees who are continuously on call.

- AT&T Service:
- Unlimited Data Plan - $37.99/month
- US Cellular Service:
- Unlimited Data Plan - $42.00/month
- Verizon Service:
- Unlimited Data Plan - $39.99/month
Data Service User Agrees To:
- Obtain proper authorization from their supervisor to purchase business data service.
- Fill out the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Enterprise Policy-Cellular Telephone Services and Equipment form. The completed form must be submitted to the cellular user's supervisor.
