IT Homework Labs and Computer Classrooms

Information Technology maintains the following student Homework Labs and Computer Classrooms on the UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield, and UW-Stevens Point at Wausau campuses.  All IT computer classrooms and homework labs contain Windows 11 PC Windows or Mac computers, or both. Printers are available within the room or close by.

Computer Classrooms

Computer Classrooms are reservable labs designed for classes when students require a computer for in-class work.  Outside of scheduled classes, computer classrooms are available for student homework.

Student Homework Labs and Computers

  • Homework Labs are dedicated computer labs with extended hours where students can work to complete assignments.  Student homework labs cannot be reserved for instructional use.
  • Information Technology also supports additional homework computers within the libraries at each UWSP campus location.
  • Residence Hall computer labs are available 24/7 to Hall residents during regular operating hours.​​​​​ See Hours for more information.
  • The Remote Lab provides 24/7 remote access to a virtual Windows 11 computer lab workstation and UWSP lab software.

Computer Classrooms
All IT computer classrooms contain a teaching station and projector. IT computer classrooms are available for student homework when not in use by a class.
