How Do I Connect to UWSPWIRELESS on MacOS?

UWSP students, faculty, and staff should connect to the secure wireless network UWSPWIRELESS when using Wi-Fi on campus.

UWSPWIRELESS is available in all academic and administrative buildings, residence halls, and CWES and Treehaven lodges and lounge areas. This network is based on the 802.1x specification for secure user authentication, and WPA/WPA2 encryption.

How to Connect to UWSPWIRLESS on a Mac

  1. Using the AirPort menu, select UWSPWIRELESS.

     
  2. Enter your UWSP login and password.  

     
    • If you are an eduroam participating institution, enter your home institution credentials. 
       
  3. Click Show Certificate if prompted. 

     
  4. Expand Trust Settings.  Change the settings to Always Trust.

     
  5. Click Continue. Your AirPort icon will show you as connected.
