Introduction:
Yealink phones currently require a sign-in every three months to continue phone use. If your Yealink phone no longer works as expected it may be that your previous sign-in has expired and may need to be renewed. To renew your sign-in, please see the following.
Renewing your phone's sign-in is as easy as entering a code from your Yealink phone screen into the Microsoft device login page on your computer's browser.
Renew your Yealink Phone's Sign-in
On your Yealink Phone screen,
- Tap the Pointer Dog screen saver (if it displays).

- Make sure that the Refresh code screen displays.

On your computer,
- Click this link, microsoft.com/devicelogin, or enter it into your browser's address bar and press Enter on your keyboard.

On your Yealink Phone screen,
- Tap the Refresh code button.

- Wait a few seconds for a 9-character code to display.

On your computer,
- Type the 9-digit code into Microsoft's Enter code to allow access box.
- Click Next.

- Click Continue.

- To complete your sign-in you will be asked to authenticate with MFA.
- Close the Microsoft Authentication Broker web page.

Tip - Walk through the above steps any time you have problems with your Yealink phone not working as expected. If you continue to have problems after renewing your phone's sign-in, contact the IT Service Desk.
