Renew Your Yealink Phone Sign In

Introduction:

Yealink phones currently require a sign-in every three months to continue phone use. If your Yealink phone no longer works as expected it may be that your previous sign-in has expired and may need to be renewed. To renew your sign-in, please see the following.

Renewing your phone's sign-in is as easy as entering a code from your Yealink phone screen into the Microsoft device login page on your computer's browser.

Renew your Yealink Phone's Sign-in

On your Yealink Phone screen,

  1. Tap the Pointer Dog screen saver (if it displays).

  1. Make sure that the Refresh code screen displays. 


On your computer,

  1. Click this link, microsoft.com/devicelogin, or enter it into your browser's address bar and press Enter on your keyboard.


On your Yealink Phone screen,

  1. Tap the Refresh code button.

  1. Wait a few seconds for a 9-character code to display.


On your computer,

  1. Type the 9-digit code into Microsoft's Enter code to allow access box.
  2. Click Next.

  1. Click Continue.

  1. To complete your sign-in you will be asked to authenticate with MFA.
  2. Close the Microsoft Authentication Broker web page.


Tip - Walk through the above steps any time you have problems with your Yealink phone not working as expected. If you continue to have problems after renewing your phone's sign-in, contact the IT Service Desk.
