How Do I Use the Microsoft Authenticator App?

If your default authentication method is set to Microsoft Authenticator - Notification your authentication method is as easy as tapping Approve on your mobile device screen.
 

How to Authenticate Using the Microsoft Authenticator App

1. Sign in to a secure UWSP resource (e.g. Web Email).
    
2. A number will appear on the computer after signing in.
   
    
3. Open the multifactor authentication notification on your mobile device.
   
    
4. Enter the number seen on your computer into the app. Click Yes.
   
    
5. Input your mobile device pin or use biometrics to confirm the MFA request.

You have now successfully used MFA to sign into a UWSP resource!
