How Do I Connect to UWSPWIRELESS on an Android Device?

UWSP students, faculty, and staff should connect to the secure wireless network UWSPWIRELESS. You can connect to UWSPWIRELESS on personal devices as long as you have a UWSP account.

To Connect an Android Device to UWSPWIRELESS

  1. Open the device Settings.
     
  2. Select Connections > Wi-Fi.


     
  3. Choose UWSPWIRELESS.

  4. Use the following configuration settings:
    • Identity: Your UWSP email and password
    • CA Certificate: Use System Certificates
    • Online Certificate Status: Do Not Verify
    • Domain: uwsp.edu
    • EAP Method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2


       
  5. Scroll to the bottom and tap Connect.

You should now be connected to UWSPWIRELESS!
 

Google Pixel Configuration Settings

Use the following information to configure Wi-Fi settings on your Google Pixel:

  • EAP Method: PEAP

  • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2

  • CA certificate: Do Not Validate

  • Identity: Your UWSP email and password

  • Anonymous Identity: Your UWSP email

  • Password: Your UWSP Password

  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap Connect.

  2. On the "Is this network trusted" screen tap, "Yes, connect."

You are now connected to UWSPWIRELESS on your Google Pixel!
