Scan Paper Documents to OneDrive From a FollowMe Printer

You can scan paper documents to your OneDrive from any FollowMe Device​​ that displays the PaperCut screen. Documents scanned to your OneDrive can be found in your OneDrive's Apps folder in a folder titled ApScans for PaperCut MF.​​that is created by PaperCut during the first scan.

To scan paper documents to your OneDrive

  1. Sign into a FollowMe printer. To sign in,

    • Swipe your UWSP PointCard, or,

  2. Tap ID number on the printer screen and enter your UWSP ID.  To display the numeric keys to enter your ID number, tap the "?123" button at the lower-left of the PaperCut screen keyboard.Tap the "ID number" button. The "ID number" is below the "Username and password" button.
  3. Tap the Scan button.
  4. Tap OneDrive. Your default scan options will display at the right. 
    On the third row, "OneDrive" is located to the right of "Scan to My Email".
     
  5. (Optional) To customize your scan options, at the right tap Settings.
  6. To scan multiple pages that are not feeder compatible, place a check in the box to Prompt for more pages.
    "Prompt for more pages" is located at the center-bottom of the screen to the left of "Start Scanning".
  7. Click Start Scanning.

If this is the first time you are scanning to OneDrive, watch for an email from PaperCut requesting authorization to access your UWSP ​OneDrive for Business. In this email click ​​Login to OneDrive for Business and sign in. Once you h vae signed in with your UWSP account and MFA you should see an Authorization Successful screen.

IMPORTANT: you must click this link and sign in within 24-hours to authorize PaperCut's access. If you have not authorized PaperCut's access within 24-hours your scanned file is deleted. 
 

Where to Find Your Scanned Files

​In your OneDrive's Apps folder, PaperCut creates a new folder titled ApScans for PaperCut MF.​​

Open the folder, ApScans for PaperCut MF, to access your scanned files.
