UW-Stevens Point's Distance Education (DE) rooms supports two-way high definition video and audio to connect students and educators in real time throughout the UW-System campuses. Instructional content and the presenter are displayed simultaneously when connecting point-to-point or to multiple locations worldwide.
DE provides educational access to all levels of learners and can be used as an addition to the online classroom. Lecture capturing is available for streaming on demand.
DE technology can also be used to connect remote locations for meetings and interviews.
To request a DE room reservation, email Info Tech User Services.
Facilities scheduling is available for:
- Distance education.
- Video and audio conferences.
- Technology presentations.
Professional staff are available on-site to help you orient to the room technology, and for additional technology support and troubleshooting.
