If you cannot find a file you created you may have been on a different computer and saved the file into a folder that is not in your OneDrive. Files saved to a Windows Desktop, Documents, or Pictures folder will not save into your OneDrive unless you have enabled Known Folder Move (KFM).
Enabling KFM backs up Windows computer Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders to your OneDrive so files you saved to these folders will still be available from your OneDrive - wherever you sign in.
