Don't Lose Locally Saved Files - Use Known Folder Move

Summary

Use Microsoft Windows "Known Folder Move" to redirect Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders and their files to your OneDrive so that files in these folders are available when you access OneDrive from other computers and through your OneDrive Cloud from your Office 365 online portal and mobile app.

Body

Known Folder Move (KFM) automatically backs up Windows Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders to your UWSP OneDrive making files saved to these local folders available when you sign in to other computers and through your Office 365 online portal

If you save your work to these folders but have not enabled KFM, your files will not be backed up to your OneDrive and will not be available when you sign into other UWSP computers or your Office 365 online portal.  To retrieve the files, you will need to return to the computer where they were saved, then sign in and move the files to your OneDrive.

Enabling KFM is easy, You should enable KFM the first time you sign into a different UWSP Windows computer (incl. remote lab computers) to protect your locally saved files.
