Teams Mobile App - Make a Call With Teams Calls

IMPORTANT: Before you can answer and make calls from your Teams Mobile app you will need to add The Teams Calls App To Your Teams Mobile App Menu.


To make a call from your Teams mobile app:

  1. ​​Open the Teams mobile app and tap Calls on the bottom menu.
  2. At the lower-right tap the round Call button to enter​​ a phone number, or Search for a name.

  1.  Add a Call Number or a Contact:
  • ​To call a Phone​ Number
  1. At the top of the app, tap Dialpad, then enter a call number or a UWSP phone extension. 
  2. Tap the round Call button.

  • To call a Contact
  1. At the top of the app, tap People.
  2. ​In the To: box, begin entering a contact's name.  "To:" looks in both Outlook's Address book and your Outlook Contacts list.
  3. When your contact displays, to the contact's right tap the camera icon (video call) or the phone icon (audio-only call).

  1. Hang up by clicking the red (phone icon) button at the right of the three button menu at the bottom of the screen. 

Tip: A mic icon with a slash means that your are muted. Tap to unmute/mute your side of the call.
