Teams Calls - Create Your Out-of-Office ("Away") Greeting

Unlike your recorded personal greeting, an out‑of‑office greeting is not recorded. Instead, you can add an out‑of‑office greeting as text which then plays to callers as text-to-speech during those times when your Outlook automatic replies are scheduled.​

Add Your Out-of-Office Greeting

 

  1. At the upper-right in Teams, click the Settings and more ellipses (…) and select Settings.
  2. In the left pane's Settings list, select Calls.
  3. t the right, scroll down to Manage out-of-office voicemail. You may need to expand Manage out-of-office voicemail to see your out-of-office greeting options.
  4. In the Manage out-of-office voicemail section, locate the box for Your custom greeting and type in your out‑of‑office greeting,

By default, your out‑of‑office greeting is only used during those times when Outlook automatic replies are scheduled.
